Hello Jean Marie Auel.
My name is Jenifer A Herrera, I live in México,
till these day I have twenty four years old, I also not as good as my husband
at English grammar, but the thing is, I have been in love of your stories sense
2000, when I have only eleven years old,
and my dad give me the first book The Clan of the Cave Bear, and I have been
reading all your books sense them, but when you start with the last book It
seems something change in you, you don’t really want to say the story of Ayla
any more, I think you want to tell the story of the caves, mostly the cave of “Chauvet”
in France discover in 1994.
Well let me just tell you something Auel, at
first, -I’m so ashamed to tell you these- but I didn´t get your book at first,
but I saw these documentary about the same cave and I was so impressed about
the similarities in your book at that cave, It also gave me the sensation to
want to discovered also these caves by my self not just in my computer, I
really don’t know these, but I think It was the smartes thing to do for finishing
your book, I mean It will never be the same for a human being like me justo to
read about the cave and to see the film on my computer, but you bought make me
feel for a moment like I was in there.
Jean M. Auel, I love your book, but the story
of Ayla it was also something that I was expecting more from your book, my
favorite part it is the moment when Ayla eats accidentaly the leaves that she thought
was “menta”, If some day you give me an answer in my blog about why did you
write more about the cave of “Chauvet” in France, I will tell you why these
part it’s my favorite part.
And only will tell you one more think, my first
son or girl that I have, I will named Ayla or Jondalar.
From México
Atte. Jen
